Basic Medical Waste Collection Package for Small Quantity Waste Generators

MedClean charges a set fee per container of waste collected. Our fee includes collection, transportation, and destruction of the waste; a replacement container; a red bag for each container; tracking of the waste and proof of destruction of the waste, all at no additional cost. Waste collection services are provided on both a regular schedule and an �on call� basis.

Expanded Medical Waste Collection Options for Large Quantity Generators

In addition to its routine waste collection service, MedClean can provide hospitals and other Large Quantity Generators with on-site trailers and storage sheds. Refrigerated trailers are available in special situations. We can provide detailed tracking of a customer's waste on a �per department� basis if requested.

Special Wastes

In addition to infectious waste service, MedClean also handles certain �special� wastes. These waste streams are packaged separately in uniquely identifiable containers provided by MedClean in order to ensure proper handling and treatment. Special wastes include pathological waste, trace chemotherapy waste, and expired pharmaceuticals.

Reusable Sharps Management Program

MedClean has recently added a reusable sharps program to its array of services. This program is designed for hospitals and seeks to reduce medical waste disposal volumes and improve safety through a decrease in needle sticks.

Confidential Documents

MedClean can responsibly manage your facility's confidential document waste stream. We provide unique containers for transportation to one of our treatment centers, where this waste stream is segregated and destroyed by either incineration or shredding. This HIPPA-compliant program is the perfect solution for the evolving need to manage information in a confidential, yet cost-effective manner.

Mail-Back Program

MedClean offers an alternative program for those generators who produce very little medical and/or sharps waste. With our pre-paid MedClean Mail-Back Program, we will send you everything you need to dispose of your waste safely and securely, postage included. When your container is full, you simply mail it back to us with no additional cost or obligation.

Client Training

MedClean understands the desire to meet and exceed regulatory compliance standards, and we want to make compliance easier for you. We offer each of our customers a set of training modules to use as teaching tools and written manuals to guide your in-house instructors through the lessons.

MedClean personnel are also available to provide on-site training and education seminars to customers. Training seminars may cover such topics as (i) Waste Identification and Segregation, (ii) Proper Waste Handling and Packaging Techniques, and (iii) OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens.
